"Eh, kita kene main 2 consecutive matches sia! Mati sia ni macam!"
"Alah. Kau nak break brape lama sia. It's just 3minutes - 3minutes tau. Skejap je pe,"
"Ah ah la. Won't be so bad la. Kalau 3minutes ok pe."
Yeah. OK was the last thing on our minds once we started playing.
Screaming, thrashing around, leaping (though with my short legs, it would be equivalent to your hopping), enraged and flared moments with the biased commentators, cramps and stitches.
That's what you get when you put us on a basketball court.
After eons, decades, centuries and whatnots of getting physical, the girls and I finally did it. =D
And what a huge surprise it was for us, to battle against barbaric basketballers and rugby players and we emerged as fourth. Not bad for a bunch of girls who haven't done a single workout in the past 1686123845days and were lacking a team member initially. But hey, we're pretty good for a bunch of underdogs. What a pity it was when Rai fell and and bruised her foot so badly til she couldn't play (let alone walk) and then it was downhill and we lost the match and settled for fourth. Bummer. We didn't even expect we'd even win a single match. And it was such a glorious moment each time I scored one for it made me reminisce back to the old primary school days when I was a basketballer. (yes, laugh all you want) Glad to say not all the skills have been lost. Heh.
I'm so proud of us! Haha.
Big supermassive hugs to the A3 girls: Raihana, Raihanah, Firah, Aisyah and Rabiah (and to Raidah who came in when Rai was injured) Yay!
The backaches that we're having now are worth every moment that we played yesterday. =D
